Sam Welsford (Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe) a remporté, ce dimanche, la 5ᵉ étape du Tour Down Under. Au terme des 90 km de course sur le circuit urbain d’Adelaide, l’Australien s’est imposé au sprint pour la troisième fois cette semaine. Il devance Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) et Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain Victorious). Après sa victoire lors de l’étape reine au sommet de Willunga Hill ce samedi, Jhonatan Narvaez (UAE Team Emirates – XRG) remporte le Tour Down Under 2025. Sur le podium final, il devance Javier Romo (Movistar Team), +09″ et Finn Fisher-Black (Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe). Premier Français, Bastien Tronchon (Décathlon AG2R La Mondiale) prend la 5ᵉ place du classement général.
